Erin Pirro is a financial strategist and process architect with over two decades of experience empowering family-owned agricultural businesses. Known for her ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights, Erin specializes in business planning, forecasting, and enterprise financial management tailored to the unique needs of retail agriculture.

Erin's consulting practice blends technical precision with creative storytelling, balancing business management and consumer connection.  When designing financial systems to efficiently gather management information, she makes sure the information is deeply aligned with operational realities. Erin excels at wrangling raw financial data into structured systems that reveal the story behind the numbers, helping farm owners make confident, informed decisions rooted in clarity and context. She is also well-versed in the unique nature of farm family dynamics, guiding families through transitions with empathy and strategic foresight to honor legacies while building financial resilience.

Erin is deeply passionate about direct-to-consumer agriculture and education.  Her own family's farms connect with customers face-to-face, fostering transparency, trust, and community around local food and fiber and agritourism. She brings this same energy to her consulting work, helping clients grow the business of their farms.

Erin serves on the Board of Directors for Eastern States Exposition—the third-largest state fair in the United States—where she champions agricultural education and agritourism. She is also a board member of Red Tomato, a mission-driven food hub that connects trusted family farms with distributors and grocers to deliver EcoCertified produce across the Northeast.
